Amen!
We've recently been teaching Camden to fold his arms during prayers. Sometimes (mostly at nighttime prayers and during church) he gets really angry that we make him fold his arms, and he gets squirmy and squeals a lot. For those situations we compliment him for being reverent if he is simply quiet. He is starting to get better...occasionally. At dinner time (and other meal times) he lets us know he's ready because he folds his arms and impatiently waits by the table for the rest of us to get there. Once we finally get everything settled and start to pray, he gets really fidgety. He stays quiet for meal time prayers, but he waits until he hears us finishing the prayer. He knows how prayers end, and he immediately folds his arms just before we say amen...then he gives a big grin and immediately starts clapping for himself. It's hard not to laugh!
