More pictures for Grandmas

OK, so I know that this is the 3rd Camden post in less than a week, but we have grandmas who need frequent updates, and I think my little guy is just so cute!

I left Camden propped up in the crook of the chair for about two minutes. When I came back, he was sound asleep.

Smiles and Cooing

Well, I have been trying so so hard to video Camden's smiles and cooing. But, it seems that everytime I pull out the camera, he stops. So, here are two clips of him--not really cooing, but as close as I've gotten so far.

Endings and Beginnings

Today I closed the teaching chapter of my life (at least for now).  With all the rush to get my room packed up, report cards handed out, class awards ready, etc., it hasn't really sunk in that I'm done. I am so grateful to be able to stay at home to be with Camden, and I wouldn't trade it, but I certainly will miss teaching.  I won't miss the tattle-telling or the never-ending grading and lesson planning (well, I guess there is an end), but I've learned so much as I have tried to teach these little munchkins.  I think I am more understanding because of my experiences.  I am grateful for them, even though they have been difficult.  Anyway, I am quite sure I will continue to learn and grow through the new experiences I will have.  

Baby Announcement!

I have a dear friend who recently had a baby. She posted her baby's birth announcement, and I loved it so much that I decided to follow her example. To be honest, I am quite proud of my creation. We love you, Camden!
