This morning has been a late/sleep in kind of morning because of middle-of-the-night teething pain. Anyway, we didn't get up until about 7:45. After Camden's bath, I put in my contacts. I checked on Camden and found him in our bedroom covered in Vaseline. Picture big globs on his newly cleaned hands, feet, clothes, and face. I found him in time to stop him from sticking a big glob in his mouth. Thank goodness Vaseline is thought to be nontoxic.
Fast forward an hour or so. I am putting laundry in the washing machine. Camden has the container of liquid detergent and is pushing it like a truck all around the floor. I hear a thud and wailing. Camden unscrewed the lid and dumped out about 2 cups of detergent. Picture a a 3-foot circle of detergent on the floor, Camden's clean clothes now wet and a little sudsy, and detergent dripping down the side of the container. Oh, and picture Camden thinking that finger painting (and hand painting and foot painting and knee painting) in laundry detergent is great fun. Well, why wouldn't it be?
Too bad I didn't get any pictures!

Wow! Sounds like it's already been quite the day! Hope the afternoon is uneventful!
Picture me mopping up a full container of apple juice off the floor whilst trying to make this darn wedding cake. Adin was trying to show me and Meg how strong he was by lifting the bottle of juice over his head. That's when he dropped it and the bottle broke. Blech!
The good ol' days. Gotta love 'em! :)
Ouch - rough morning. It kind of makes you wonder why bother getting them dressed at all. Don't worry - you'll laugh at it some day.
What a day! It is exhausting just to read about it! Funny too, though! Hope everything else is going well! Take care!
He must be related to his Dad. He spread Desitin all over his room at about age one. It must be hereditary. Boys will be boys!!
Babies are intense. I think I'll keep just a husband for a while.
Good luck with your continuing efforts to Replenish the Earth... :)
What a funny story (after the fact, of course!). You gotta love those mischievous little boys! :)
