10 months old!

Camden is now 10 months old (well, as of a few days ago). In the past few days, he has started standing by himself more frequently and for longer amounts of time.

He is also our new puppy, and chews on everything he can get, especially cardboard. After sucking on the corner of a cereal box until it is soft, he bites off some and chews on it like gum. Of course, he cries out when we scoop it out as though we are stealing from him.

He also has a strange relationship with the vacuum cleaner. It intrigues him greatly, so he plays around it, climbs on it, etc. He'll push the button that releases the top and lets it hinge back. Usually, though, the top half will fall to the ground. When this happens, he crawls away in terror, like the vacuum is after him. As soon as he calms down, he's right back at the vacuum. Strange. :)

Camden's latest trick is kicking the soccer ball. When he hold his hands so he can walk, he'll aim toward the soccer ball and kick it. Walk, kick, repeat. It is great fun!

Yeah, a little embarrassing what I'll do to get Camden giggles. Oh well. :)
