I love year-round school! It is so nice to have a break every 9-10 weeks (for me and for the kids). I have one more week off, and I have really enjoyed my lazy mornings, listening to talk radio, exercising every day, reading books, and procrastinating my giant stack of papers to grade. I've been at school on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons for our school Christmas choir and to work with three students. One of them is mine who just needs a few more weeks of speech interventions so I can refer her to speech therapy. She is a native Spanish speaker, but neither her English nor her Spanish is intelligible. Anyway, I am having a very enjoyable and relaxing off-track time.
As an update to my tag, my set of favorite snacks for this week include: most any fresh fruit (but not home-grown, as it has attracted multitudes of fruit flies-yuck!), refried beans with tortilla chips, and fruit snacks.

Michelle, you are so funny! I love your update about your snacks! You are amazing to be able to deal with all those kids! I only have 2 of my own and sometimes they are more than I can handle! Anyway, take care!

Hey Michelle, thanks for leaving us a comment the other day (sorry it's taken me a while to get back to you). It looks like you and the hubby are doing well and I'm glad to see you are enjoying your time off. I'm sorry your fruit has attracted flies, but I can only keep humans, not plants, alive so woo hoo for you! We'll have to exchange emails or numbers so we can talk soon.
