I figured it out!
Well, Brian and I have been trying to figure out how to apply all the cute backgrounds to our blog. The directions on the website didn't make sense because we didn't have the right buttons on our screen that the directions said we should have. Anyway, tonight, I saw that there were updated directions. Hooray! It worked!

That is so cute. I tried to get that same background to work on my blog, but I couldn't get it to show up right. Those backgrounds are complicated. Maybe it's just me or my computer.

I guess I just need to actually sit down and figure it all out, as well. I'll do it after the little one's bed time. I may have to ask you about it all later.

OK. Here are my best directions for posting a new background.
1. Log onto your blog.
2. In another window or tab, go to http://www.thecutestblogontheblock.com/
3. On the side, under the "links" tab, click on "backgrounds".
4. Choose the background you like.
5. Now, here's the trickier part. Leave the both tabs/windows open, but go back to your blog site and click on “customize” on the upper right hand corner.
6. Under the name of your blog, you should be in the “Layout” and “Page Elements” sections. Click “Pick new Template” and change AND SAVE your template to “Minima.”
7. Go back to “Page Elements” and click “Add a Gadget” at the bottom of your “Navbar” box.
7. You’ll see a box with many pictures in it. Click on “HTML/Java script”. On mine, it was the 11th one down.
8. Copy/Paste the code of the cute background into the big blank box. You don’t need anything in the title. Save it, and you should be good! Good luck!
