Addition

Brian and I are going to have an addition to our family! Right now, he or she is about 2 inches long, and has visible hands, feet, and eyes. He or she is almost 11 weeks old, and is already very active! He or she (it has already decided what it is) has developed all its organs and just needs to keep growing until May! Today we got to see our little one, who was looking at the ultrasound and waving. It seems strange that the little one is really inside me, but we are so excited. We will post pictures if we can figure out how to get them on the computer.

I have felt pretty good so far. I have been extra sleepy, and I get tired quickly when I exercise. I also have a hard time cooking. Eating has been an adventure, and I've definitely had some specific cravings and aversions. But, overall, I have been very well.

My favorite foods of the week are Arby's Regular Roast Beef Sandwich (which has 20 grams of protein), fruit snacks (full of vitamin C), and popcorn (high in fiber and a good source of protein).

Fruit candy has also been at the top of my list, but chocolate and ice cream are not my favorite things.

Anyway, we're super excited!
