Seven for Sunday

1. Happy Father's Day!  Ours included sleeping in (until 7:30 ish--quite an anomaly at our house, especially on Sunday!), wonderful church services, yummy french dip sandwiches, cherry pie, playing trains, enjoying a nice cool house, and phone calls to dads.  Hope yours was great, too!

2. Cutting concrete is something we hope to never have to do again.  It's hard!

3.  We discovered this set of DVDs called Liberty's Kids.  It's set of 40 animated episodes about the American Revolution especially for kids.  My boys love it, even if they don't quite grasp it all.  I like it because it teaches about the revolution from start to finish.  Walter Cronkite, Dustin Hoffman, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Billy Crystal, and Whoopi Goldberg are some of the voices.  They are also on youtube.

4. My boys were yelling the words to "Chicka Chicka Boom Boom" at the top of their lungs today. Except Mckay says, "Chicken boom boom," which is funny all by itself.  I'm wondering if they'll have voices tomorrow.  :)

5. We discovered we have 2 nightshade plants in our yard after reading a KSL article about how poisonous it is.  It has these beautiful small purple flowers--you'd never guess it was a toxic weed!  But it's gone now.

6. This summer is going way too fast.  I love summer! Morning walks just for fun, park play dates, swimming, watching Camden read a book all day long, spraying boys with the hose/sprinklers in the back yard, playing in the basement when it's too hot, friends, short sleeves and flip flops, watermelon, lots of yummy fruit...I could go on and on!

7. I have about 10 weeks until this baby boy comes.  The right name is elusive.
