Mckay spent his birthday throwing up and staying home from church. Sad day! We did watch a movie in the afternoon, but he generally felt pretty awful.
Here's a little about Mckay:
~He hates being undressed. HATES it! He just begs for, "new shuht on me!" until he's dressed again. When he had his 2 year check up, the taking his clothes off so the doctor could check him out was WAY worse than his shot. Silly boy!
~He loves his Daddy. A LOT. In the morning, he either wakes up to eat bekast (breakfast) with Daddy, or he comes and snuggles in bed with me and insists on laying on Daddy's pillow. Many times through the day, he'll say, "Daddy home soon. Daddy home soon."
~He can say just about whatever he wants. He certainly can repeat anything we say to him, and he is eager to express himself. Personally, I love love love it. He often says, "thanks, mommy" or other sweet things. He also loves to copy his older brothers. Their favorite phrase right now is "Ooh -la-la, hi-ya!" complete with karate chop.
He is a charmer. He is so sweet about it, but he is a little charmer! It just melts me most of the time. And I love it! He has a good sense of humor (for a 2 year old), and tells us we're funny. "Mommy bunny. Daddy bunny."
He loves dirt, mud, shovels, digging.
He climbs really well--best to keep ladders to the roof under strict supervision!
He has some awesome dancer and loves his dance music.
He has some awesome facial expressions and practices sad, happy, angry, and (his current favorite) surprised faces. Happy and surprised are definitely favored over sad and angry, which only last for a second or two before he starts giggling.
