My little boys!

Ben is one month old today!  We still think we'll keep him around. :)  He's getting kind of... chunky!  We have had mostly thinner babies, so a double chin is fun to squish! He lost a bunch of hair, and we still can't quite tell what color his eyes are.  Just dark.

Mckay thinks he is the king of the world.  He is loud and likes to give commands.  He thinks he is a super hero, and usually is wearing his cape.  He hates being undressed or being barefoot outside.  He somehow learned most of the primary songs that C and N sung in the program, and loves to sing!  And carrying him or putting him in the cart at a store is the worst punishment (for him and anyone else in the store).  He will scream loud enough for all Costco to hear, "JUST WALK!" or "I DON'T WANT TO" or "MOMMY 'TOP IT!"  for sometimes the whole shopping trip.  It's all I can do to smile, and say "I'm sorry" like a broken record.  But he already learned that trick, minus the smile.

Nate started preschool and likes to tell me about his teachers, his friend named Cougar (I'm going to check and see about that...), and the songs he learns.  He is starting to put sounds together, despite my small attention to his learning to read.  He's always hungry.  Always.  And he's learning to be more patient with Mr. King of the World and be the big brother, not the antagonizer.  At least sometimes.

Camden started 1st grade and it was pretty rough at first.  Now it's much better!  I even have to drive around the pick up line several times occasionally because he's so busy talking to/playing with friends that he doesn't see me or hear me yelling his name.  His class is more challenging for him, and he doesn't get everything right so easily.  I like that.  I also like that his worst days are the days when he has PE.  He LOVES PE, but he always complains that he gets too tired to have recess, centers, and PE all in a row.  Tough life, right?  Hey, if that's the worst kind of day, sign me up!

Here are some of the pictures we took today.  I think they turned out all right!

Look at little chubby cheeks! He didn't have those when I left. Can't believe how much he has changed. The boys all look so cute!
