When everyone woke up on Christmas morning, everyone was MUCH happier! Thank goodness, too! Nate kept saying "I promise I will like it!" when we opened the first few gifts. I think all three boys got a bath first, and then we ate our special Christmas cereal:
Even Camden ate a few bites.
Then we went to find our stockings...
My brother David arrived as the boys were eating, It was so good to have him with us! After he arrived, we opened the presents Santa left!
Nate got a bow and arrows. I always think I take more pictures than I actually do. So, no picture (yet) of the bow.
Camden got a Stormfly from How to Train your Dragons, along with a book that shows how to draw the different people and dragons from the movie.
Mckay got a ball pit,
which he snuggled!
In the afternoon, we got all bundled up and played in the snow.
The snow was too dry to make a real snowman, but we did our best!
Happy boys before bedtime.
Oh yes, the downstairs present from Daddy--can you see the monkey bars?
What a wonderful day we had! In the evening, we sang our "The Living Christ" song, which we've been working to learn since before Thanksgiving. That really constitutes another post, but I got a little teary hearing Camden and Nate both sing the words of the Living Christ. There are little cards with the words and pictures posted on the door by our kitchen, and I can't quite get myself to take them down so we can learn something new. Anyway, it was a special day!
