9 Months...

9 Month McKay!

1. He's crawling!  He's getting faster--we need to start shutting the bathroom door.
2. But he's really nervous about falling.
3. He only has two teeth.  I'm not really complaining, but my other boys had 5-6 by now.
4. He's super allergic to rice.  Not allergic
5.  He loves to play with everyone at church.  I sit on the stand for the beginning, until after the Sacrament.  I see the 3 rows behind him smiling and playing with him.  :)  
6.  He has a certain shriek he reserves for brothers who take his toys from him. Here's where the real "adjustment" to the third kid comes--when he starts to have opinions and the boys have to learn that he's a person, too.
7.  If he's really tired, only Heaven can help you!  (It may require swaddling, and full out jumping for him to calm down. May you never experience it!)  But, the last few days have seen significant improvement, so that his favorite way to fall asleep is to read stories.  It is so sweet and so much more heavenly. :)
8.  He loves to say dadadadada.
9.  He is pretty sensitive to little bangs and bonks.  It's the saddest, cutest cry. :)
