Easter Beam

A few weeks ago, Camden told me that his church class really were the "Sonbeams and Daughterbeams" because there are boys and a girl in his class.

Then this week, we've been starting to learn "He is Risen" in preparation for Easter.  I think it is immensely helpful when Camden is familiar with or knows the hymns, because it gets his attention.  He might not sing them, but he definitely listens better when he knows the song.  Anyway, one of the verses talks about an "Easter beam".  Camden was quiet for a second, and then said, "I'm a Sonbeam and an Easter beam!" 

I love it! I'm sure he doesn't know that Sonbeams are really Sunbeams.  But he isn't really wrong, either.  We are all sons and daughters of Heavenly Father.  And so yes, Camden, you are a little Sonbeam.  And you can be an Easter beam, too.
