Christmas photos part 2

Camden loved the beach sooo much, that we went back another day.  This time, we were more prepared with towels, swimsuits, etc.  (Except Brian, who ended up pretty wet.  Oops!)  The water seemed so icy this time, but Camden didn't seem to even notice.  For almost an hour, Brian and Camden jumped in frigid waves.  Brrr!  But, it made some great pictures!  There are more toward the bottom.

We actually went to 2 beaches.  The first is called La Jolla (pronounced la hoya) Cove.  There's a little walkway that makes a nice protected place for seals.  Usually they are everywhere, but there were only a few when we went.  They are so funny.  They can't really move around when they're out of the water, so they flop.  And, some stay in the water and let the little waves roll them around and around.  Some are small, maybe 30 pounds and the size of a medium-small dog.  Some are much bigger.   No one is supposed to swim at this beach.
Back at the swimming beach, drawing in the sand.
Camden LOVED the trampoline.  Before we left to drive home, he just wanted to jump and jump.  It was sad to drag him away.

Happy New Years!  We had our own mini confetti/balloon drop at 8:30.  Camden loved to throw the confetti all over.
