Camden absolutely loves music. He always has. Except he never sings. He may say a word or two if you stop and wait for him, but he never sings.
Throughout the day, he constantly asks for various songs, none of which are "real" songs. But, I've learned you can sing about anything to almost any tune. Anyway, today we first went on a big (jump) giant (jump) brown (jump) bear (jump) hunt, and we got safely home. During the t-rex hunt, Camden looked terrified as we ran through the grass, climbed down the tree, swam across the lake, and got back home. We talked for a few minutes about how t-rexes are all gone.
"No t-rex all gone".
"Yes, they are."
"Safe t-rex tree." (I think he meant we'd be safe from t-rex in a tree.)
"Mom would always protect you from T-rex. I would climb this tall tree to keep you safe." (It's a good thing there aren't any around.)
"Mom climb tree. " (And, on to new topic)
Then, he wanted to go on a giraffe hunt, and I decided we'd better calm things down. Along one of our stops, we had to go through sticky, stinky mud. Camden called it the sunky mud. So, then, at Camden's request, we sang (to tune of Wheels on the Bus) about how McQueen, Tow-Mater, Doc, Flo, and Ramone either got stuck in the sunky mud or got out of the sunky mud.

How cute! You are so creative! I always get stuck when I try to make up songs :).
Such fun! Good thing you protect your kiddos from those dinosaurs!
