Camden update

~He has started to love sitting on Brian's lap while Brian plays Primary songs. Brian will ask him if he wants to sing a certain song, and Camden will say "yeah" or "nope!". Some of his favorites are Book of Mormon stories (mostly the verse about Abinadi) and Follow the Prophet (mostly the chorus and the verse about the lions).

~He is such a little boy. His favorite things are trucks, dinosaurs, and animals. He loves to jump and run. We don't have many little boys in our ward, and the little girls make him obviously uncomfortable. It's a good thing he's getting a brother!

~He still loves his animal sounds, and I think he is quite good at them. His favorites are lions, elephants, pigs, and dinosaur snoring. He is starting to say more words, too. It is amazing at how much he can pick up! (Here is his pig sound; sorry it's so dark.)




~He likes to poke his finger through the middle of a slice of cucumber and eat it off his finger.

~He really LOVES his dad!



~He points to everything and says "that," wanting us to tell him what it is, even if he knows or we've just told him. If I don't answer him, he'll just keep asking! I have great admiration for parents who are going through the "why" stage!

~He has a very difficult time waking up. In the morning, he's usually ok after he eats his "siyeol" (cereal), but it takes him a good hour to be happy again after he wakes up from his nap. Any suggestions?

P.S. We just got a new cousin! Brian's sister, Sarah, had her little girl, McKenna Drea, yesterday afternoon. How exciting for us!

P.P.S. I am 7 months along, which means the baby is about 2 1/4 lbs and almost 15 inches long. I am starting to feel bigger and would prefer it if all my shoes were slip-ons. Other than that, I'm doing well!

P.P.P.S. This morning, Camden fell and banged his head--in 4 spots! Poor guy! He currently looks like this:
