Before:
Table--Brian has been working on a table for my brother, who is babysitting his roommate's fish while the roommate is in China for a semester. It has turned out more beautiful than I imagined! Brian wants you to know it's made of Lyptus, Walnut, and African Mahogany-all from scraps that would have been thrown out at his work.
Lyptus veneer panels, Walnut trim, Mahogany accents (it still needs another coat or two of finish):
Closet--We (and I really mean Brian) put in shelving for our closet. He was able to add an extra shelf, which means we have a lot more space! I love, love, love it! He also adjusted the closet rods to make the space more efficient. Our closet feels so much bigger, even though there's more stuff in it.
Windows--We replaced our (4) windows, which had some broken seals and were forming ice on the inside. I love how we can take down the thick curtains and blankets and let light in. I also love how the heater turns on less often and especially how pretty they look! It's almost like we're looking through HD windows because they are so clear.
And, in case you weren't impressed with any of that, here's Camden eating a banana.

Such a fun update. You guys are busy with your place. You're going to run out of things to do. As I was scrolling through Adin saw the picture of the table Brian made and Adin said (with a lot of excitement), "Whoa, that is a really cool chair." Ha ha. I am super jealous about the windows. Our house is soooo drafty! However, I am most impressed by sweet Camden's banana eating. :)
Wow!You guys have been really busy and I love that paint color! The table looks awesome! I totally laughed out loud at your closing with Camden eating a banana. Ha Ha
Love sweet Camden!!! Your projects are pretty wonderful too. I would love to see a picture of your closet. I think the "chair" :o) that Brian built is beautiful. Color sure makes a difference on the walls. Miss you guys!
You've been doing a lot of projects! We still have tape up from planned projects that still aren't done!
I'm jealous of your new windows! Our windows are from the 1950's and also broke their seal, letting in lots of condensation. They all look foggy. Unfortunately for us, there are 17 windows to replace! Someday... :)
I love all of it! That color looks so cute! Did you do the whole room? The table is amazing (go Brian!). Camden looks adorable eating a banana. = )
I am so blown away by Camden eating a banana that I don't know what else to say. His form is impeccable, I defy a monkey to eat a banana with such style. WOOT Camden!!!!1
Way to go, you guys! I can't wait to live somewhere we can paint and change things up!
p.s. Scarlett challenges Camden to a banana eating contest...in a few years...
You guys put us all to shame! Productivity I tell you. Especially Camden. I realize that it takes special skills to eat a banana without a huge goobery mess so GOOD JOB buddy.
Yep, the banana boy was definitely the most impressive part of your post. Love you guys...
