Christmas festivities

Here is a little glimpse into our Christmas festivities this year...

Camden quite disliked snow on his first encounter with it this year. Well, we got about 3 feet in 1 week! But, after it warmed up, he found that he really likes to crunch it!

We went to temple square to see the lights. Camden's favorite things were the sheep and the grates in the sidewalk--which wiggled a little when he stepped on them. We chased him around, trying to keep him from running into people while he galloped and baa-ed like a sheep. We had a wonderful time!

Finally, a pair of gloves Camden will wear! They are sharks and have little fins that stick up on the top. Thanks, Aunt Natalie!

My Christmas tree skirt in progress--I really hope that the sides will connect when it is all finished.

Camden's Christmas ornament for this year

So cute! (About 20 seconds long) Sorry it's a little dark

We hope you have a Merry Christmas this year!

PS. We find out in 5 days whether we get a boy or a girl! Can't wait!

Amazing tree skirt! I'm so impressed. The base of our tree is embarrassingly naked this year because we don't have a skirt. Next year...

Unfortunately, the actual skirt is shrinking as it get sewn. I'm quite sure I can't find all the different fabrics again, but I really hope I have enough scraps to finish it. It seems like I find these cool projects, only to wish I could make them twice to fix mistakes I made on the first! I'll surely post a picture when it is finished--my goal is to get the top done before Christmas and the rest done before the baby comes.

Just add a few more rows to make it meet in the middle and if it is to small lengthwise, add a beautiful solid border. It will still be FABULOUS!!!

Nice subtle pregnancy announcement! And no matter what, your tree skirt will be awesome :) (I just use some bunched up fabric that I hope doesn't look accidental :).
