Happy Birthday, Camden!

My little boy is already 3 years old!  He loves Captain America and Captain "Awhoni" (Moroni), dinosaurs and dragons, BOOKS and his new bicycle, and Cars things.  He loves to run outside "bearfoot" and to play rough with other boys.  Right now he's play pinching my arm and saying "squishy arm" over and over.  Silly boy! He loves to sing in nursery at church, or at the library singing time.  He is our big boy!  We are trying to teach him to be kind and gentle, especially to Nate, but he really loves to be wild and crazy.
Here are a few pictures of his birthday celebrations.  As always, I wish I'd gotten more.

Happy birthday, big guy!

A butterfly ate it

Camden, Nate, and I were at a store.  We walked by a rather buxom lady wearing a tube-top shirt.  Here is the conversation, as best as I can remember:

C: That lady lost her shirt.
M:  Oh, she only lost part of her shirt.  What do you think happened to it?
C: It got caught.
M: What caught it?
C:  (Long pause)  A butterfly.
M: A butterfly?  What happened next?
C: It ate it.
M: What color was the butterfly?
C: Yellow.
M:  Oh.
C: It flew away.

I can't remember how the conversation ended exactly, but there you have it.  Now you know the origin of tube top shirts.  :)

Picture collage

My camera was indicating that there were too many pictures on it.  As I transferred the pictures to my computer, I found some good memories!

Here is one of about 5 days that we had enough snow to play in.  Camden loves the snow!  One day he even went outside in his socks, without a coat before I could get him ready. He loved throwing snowballs and making a snowman, knocking down the snowman, and rolling in the snow.

(Mid-March) Nate loves climbing.  Surprisingly, he doesn't fall very often when he's climbing.  He's far more likely to get pushed by Camden or just topple over when walking.

Camden loves to play this game when Brian gets home from work.  Brian has to lay on the floor while Camden brings all his pillows, blankets, and stuffed animals out.  Camden makes sure Brian is all covered up and then tucks his animals in, and then tucks himself in.  :)
I don't know why I love this picture, but I do!
Laura has the magic touch to help Camden fall asleep.  He took more naps while she was here than he has in a long time.  Hmmm...is it because Laura sleeps, too?

My happy Nate!
